The groove on the pin wasn't exact but the fit is very tight and the pin won't come out on is own. I could do a side by side picture but I won't be home for another week. Hope this helps!

I made a couple brass ones, one taller for open class. The groove does line up to "lock" in the pin with the o-ring.

It is a bit hard to pull out but I think its perfect. You definitely don't want it to work its way out on its own.

I'd say man hands might be needed but then again, I'm sure Mel pulls these out all the time....

It might be time to get one of these for your drive to work.

Just playing, I use two hands and it seems to be fairly easy.

You could always wrap a tiny cloth on it when trying to pull it out, it may help pad your fingers
