You have a vested interest having designed a marker around one specific round.

I think that these can perform better, given that it may have more paint than regular .68

However, since they haven't made it to market yet, and haven't annoucned anything in ages.. who's to say either way?

I don't think they will have more paint as the rounds are 50 cal with a 68 skirt. Also I think Bills only vested interest is have more options to shoot. Remember the SR-1 was built for him alone and he invited us along for the ride.

I think the reason we may never see a practice style FS round for sale by a company would be safety reasons, someone may purposely or accidentally use them in a play situation and someone could get hurt. It could happen but I wouldn't hold my breath. One wouldn't need too many of them either, that could also be a reason we might not see them, they wouldn't sell a ton of them.

Does this happen with reballs? I hope not.

WOuldn't a full sphere of .50 be more by volume than half (FS rounds carry only half a payload) a .68?

Yes possibly, but you did say regular 68, not FSR

Also I wonder if the 121 has changed yet again.....

Damn bad link look at their FB page. Looks cool.

I haven't heard of it but I haven't looked for any occurrences. The thing with reballs is they are a good bit smaller than regular paint so you will get a velocity drop that is quite substantial if you mixed them in with regular paint, so they wouldn't hit as hard. You wouod need to set up your marker specifically to shoot them well. Re balls are not real easy to find, they don't make a ton of them. It seemed like the hype behind them at first was strong but they fell off the map really. I like the idea of them but I wouldn't really want to put Field Reballs through any of my good guns because they would be dirty, grit is not good for the internal surfaces of a marker.

We test our pump guns with reball.

they zing

I also use 687 poly balls Registration Spheres, Alloy Steel and Ceramic Precision Balls-Precision Plastic Ball Company - Franklin Park, Illinois

they zing

I am working on getting a nerf dart to hit 280.

they are pretty wild.

People can shoot anything out of any paintball gun.

They just need to be prosecuted for criminal intent to cause great bodily harm. Premeditated I might add.

That news would travel fast.

What about these same people at real rifle ranges?

Don't go out with stupid people and do stupid things.

I agree with the stupid people thing but at a public field you don't really get to choose who plays and who doesn't. It is possible someone may make them but I wouldn't count on it. Proper safety gear should prevent any serious injury but that's where the "stupid people" thing comes back into play.

I believe you are referring to the pic with regular FS's that are painted red. I don't think they changed the 121's again.
