I am going to get or make a reg tester. Also, try a new main spring. Five turns just seems way too much to me.

I suspect that your mainspring is weak. Swap in a new one or stretch your current one.

If you do not have a pressure tester, try sweet-spotting your regulator. If the pressure of your regulator is running to low or too high, you may have trouble making velocity. Judging from the description of your problem, I bet this is a cure.

You will need:
A safe place to shoot
Some paint
A chronograph
Allen keys

Start by backing your IVG out until it touches your vanity cap.
Then adjust your regulator adjustment bolt is one turn out from flush.
Now shoot 3-5 balls at a time over the Chrono, then adjust your regulator a 1/2 turn at a time, shoot 3-5 shots and repeat. Your velocity will go up and up, then it will go down. Make the final adjustment so your velocity is at the maximum. Then use your IVG to adjust the final velocity.

Good luck!
