Quick S6 and Co2 question?

SO I want to bring my boy out and let him shoot my S6 in the woods...I have very little air left in my bottle but I have many Co2 12grams...since the marker has a regulator there shouldnt be any issues right?!?

yep...thats what I thought but its been 15 years since I used Co2 other than in a Tiberius. gonna play with some 12 grams!!If I remember right co2 has a general psi of 850, since the marker runs at about 300 the reg should control the dirty gas just fine and since its a pump I know I dont have to worry about freezing

depending on the manufacturer of the 12g's they might not even be that "dirty" also i truly doubt there is even enough liquid CO2 in a 12g gram to freeze out an S6

They will work fine running through the regulator. They won't work in place of the regulator in the bodies ASA.

The S6 has very little spare material on it, so you might expect it to get pretty sweaty/cold on C02, as well...

Crossman/Daisy 12 grams were becoming very dirty last I heard. If possible, try to stick with Mosa or Leland.

Honestly I'd consider tearing down and relubricating the regulator after using the first two. The black gunk making it into them is nasty. They helped kill a seal in my KP2 (of course it wasn't exactly new either).
