Oil drops through ASA?

I was just re-reading TF's old manual for the SS-25 (to get the input pressure) and noted the comment right at the end about putting 3-4 drops of oil into the ASA every so often.

I've never done this with any of my CCM's...Is this something most of the rest of you are doing?

I've never done it on my S6. I've probably put 20+ cases through and haven't had any issues. I did clean and rebuild the reg once. I probably pull the valve after about 2 or 3 days of play, really depends on how dirty the rest of the marker is.

I was wondering the same thing, since so many internal parts need to run dry.

Only the hammer needs to be ran dry

And the valve stem but when u run oil through the Asa. Only a small amount gets on the stem and air will blow it out anyways
