Cut your own from; wood, acrylic or micarta that way you can make them as thick , thin or contoured as you want. I like a bit of skateboard grip tape on the front and back straps.
Last set I made from canvas micarta took about 20 minutes.

I had the same problem with my dye sticky 3's on my thin frame, I think I ended up cutting the ends off of some q-tips and using them for filler to avoid the extra space issue.
But it looks like everyone else has a better answer than that

Leave the front and just cut the back off and put it on the buffing wheel to take care of the edges.

Mine feel great on my thin 45
