Aftermarket 6.5 bolts?
So I just got a 6.5 from the craigslist gods here in cali and the kid said it had an aftermarket bolt, doesnt look like a tech t and I dont think its stock. Anyone know what this is?

Stock. A techt doesn't have the detents Cuz its made for the t2. Also techt has 3 orings. And a venturi face.

Post a side pic.. and is ccm engraved on the back?

I'll get more pictures. No ccm on the back. There is an screw for the ball bearing in the pin hole. The milling is also slightly different.

Here are some more pictures, I also noticed that after the gun cocks the bolt is still partially in the breech, is this normal? The springs in this seem pretty heavy compared to the other one I had and the t2's I have had over the years.

This doesn't look to me like any CCM stock bolt. I wonder a bit if this is someone's prototype (not CCM)...maybe turned from an Ego bolt or even a delrin full block cocker bolt? Maybe someone lost their bolt and tried to fashion a replacement?

The issue with the gun cocking with the bolt in breech is suggests that the length of the bolt is too long and thus was/is not an actual S6.5 bolt.

I'm sure Mel will be glad to sell you the correct part!

Do like the multicolor scheme BTW!

I'll got an order going from them already so adding a bolt is no biggie. I'll hopefully be able to do some velocity tests with it

Yeah, I think the main question would be whether the air passage cut into the bolt lines up correctly with the air coming up from the valve!

FYI- a standard HB bolt does not have the same dimensions as a CCM bolt. I almost sure that the transfer hole will not line up with the body.

It almost reminds me of an ego 6 bolt.
