CCM T2 Swapping Grip frame/ Auto Trigger??

I've got a second hand T2 with the 45 frame. i was also able to find and get a used 86 frame that i wanted to use on the T2. the 86 frame fits perfectly but the auto trigger won't go in all the way for the retaining pin to fit down all the way.

the 45 frame has the trigger pin with the allen head. the 86 frame has the design with the retaining pin.

the 45 frame is drilled all the way through for the AutoTrigger and the 86 Frame is not.

My main question is, are there two different kinds of Auto Triggers depending on the frame?

how can I fix this situation so I can pick and chose the frame I want?

Yes, there is a long cam and a short cam.

If one of the frames has the cam hole thru both sides it is the long cam.

The short cam will fit in both frames.
