I agree with this fully. I haven't owned a J12 but I did get to shoot one and mess with it a bit as well as go through a full teardown with stud muffin Rod himself. I sold off all my CCM guns besides my S6.5, that gun fits me like a glove, I love it. I still want a j12 though but won't be paying the silly $1400+ some are asking.

...so the gun that was never coming out isn't going to come out for slightly longer than it wasn't coming out before. Hardly bad news. If this means they can get a manufacturing production schedule to meet the demand in less than the 10 years it was looking like, I think that's a great thing.

They should, however, continue to respect the queue of folks waiting for one once they do re-commence (even though my place on that list is fairly crappy).

That probably wasn't an easy decision. Respect for beeing straight and open. Aside from the great products, that's one reason for me to be a CCM fan.

It's a matter of personal taste. It's different than the other CCM offerings.
I truly enjoyed having the J12 and put it through the gauntlet on more than one occasion. Is it a sweet shooter, hell yeah it is. Unfortunately, I got stuck with some unforeseen circumstances and it had to make the rounds to someone else's collection.
Like yourself, you like the 6.5, I like the 5. Some people have various tastes and the CCM lineup allows each person to cater to it.
J12's price is going to go out the roof, but how many will actually pony up the cash? The market will sort itself out.

I highly doubt they'd start a new list. Right?

Does that mean that there will be more machine time for the CCM Karni pump kit?

So curious, what is happening to all of the parts that have already been machined?

I’d still go off the initial wait list.

Just means Bill can apply female logic and buy a new machine or two to meet production needs, right?
