An easy way to clean dust clear "white" finishes

The answer? Lighter fluid (naphtha), it strips dirt and grime off, I personally use ronsonol brand (because its cheap). This makes it a simple quick wipe down to clean the gun.

What other things have fellow "white" gun owners tried?

Brake clean. Specifically Red Stallion (scented) (my supp for my auto shop) on a rag.

WD40

Dawn and water

Automotive Glass cleaner (also great for dust black finishes....is also the best thing to clean Plastidip and other various black finishes)

I have always had good luck with dawn and warm/hot water.

50% rubbing alcohol, 20% dawn and 30% water
I just like how it "dries" itself without streaking.

I've got no sense of smell. Couldn't tell you first hand

I've been told that it smells better and not like typical brake clean almost like a citrus and less chemically (Better...also not told to me by my rep that sold it to me)

I tried the lighter fluid.

It made one helluva fire after the bolt started to burn.

I just couldn't resist any longer.
