The marker did need to be re-timed as you described when the trigger was first installed. Back block was 3/16 away from the body after first installed. Invited a range of players (from new, semi players and tournament pump - players with finesse to hands like a guerrilla) to use it throughout the day of play. The marker was played in the rain, sand and dirt. The trigger took a direct hit several times. Only wiped the exterior. Never took the trigger apart to clean until asked to take pictures. No change in timing so far. The hammer lug did not need to be lowered to it's maximum for the 2 brass bearing trigger. Whatever production model that is chosen perhaps an adjustment to the height of the bearing can be considered to compensate for what you observed. Will take careful note in the weekends to come. Thank you so much. All in all the reviews have been very positive.

The 45 frames are 3/4" thick. Of course the panels make them 1" thick.

We are planing on inset panels like the 86. one of these days.
