ccm springs and hammer non ccm valve

Hey guys. Was wondering if someone else used Ccm springs and hammer with a different valve then a Ccm valve. I'm putting together a pump for my brother and I had spare springs and a heavy hammer from an older project.. I have a stock wgp valve and belsales valves... Was wondering if any of these valve combos would work. Before I purchase a Ccm valve..

Thanks.

CCM's lower tube assembly is in my opinion ideal and preferred. Ive tried a ccm valve and valve spring with WGP hammer but because the WGP hammer (with hole in the center) is lighter and shorter, I had to put a slightly heavier spring for it to work.

I am looking for those yellow madman springs.

valve

just did this with my 2004 prostock, ccm springs & hammer & stock valve what I found was the stock valve has a wider intake than the ccm so I had to de-tune the setup. So the IVG is one turn in and my cp reg is running 200psi with an .682 insert.haven't Been out yet but with my hand held chrono and some reballs it"s shooting 260fps,Now hoping that with paint in it should bring it somewhere in the 275-280fps. fyi my first time out with two turns in on the IVG and reg at 300-325psi it shot 330+.which was a pain in the a_ _ because the field I go to has the only chrono ON the field as you go on....If this helps so be it,if not it will give you something to work with(test)(test)(test)...............

Ok. So after getting it all together today.. 300psi. Two turns in the ivg.. 280fps.. Nice.. Still very smooth and very quiet... Love it. Marker seemed consistent and efficient.. Only shot possible a bag in the yard and my tank moved only a little on the gauge
