CCM o-ring question
Parts question. I haven't researched this much, but alas, I am lazy.

What size o-ring do I need for a CCM bottom line on/off? The one that goes around the little spike at the base of the knob. Mine leaks from being turned on and off too much.

Could I just go to the store and try a few? Yes, but again, the lazy factor comes into play. :p

Call and talk to Rod. He can give you the size and material information.

He has always been extremely helpful when I have had technical questions about CCM's products. :)

yeah, I am sure. I just don't want to make a long distance call for o-ring dimensions. I am just hoping someone from CCM or someone in the know can tell me here....for free....with little expended energy. :D

Glad I found this post. I run CCM rail on/offs on every marker except one. I just had one give up the o-ring and was trying to find a reference.

Last I had heard, Rod said that they did a slight internal redesign on the CCM on/offs and are using a slightly harder O-ring to prevent some of the issues that had been occuring with the rings getting knicked easily. I had some of the new ones, but misplaced them on my computer desk. Its a mess. LOL.

"Cleaning it now because of disgust" ;) Who knows what goodies I will find...

I always make sure I carry at least a couple of these O-Rings extra for each of my guys. Since I put the harder o-rings on though I have not had quite the issue that I did.

Odd. I must have had the newer o-rings. Never had a problem with my on / offs.
