honestly i think all that would be needed is a change in cup seal and a stainless or brass valve body what has a flatter edge so the PSI doesnt cut it into the cup seal.......

Theres a lot that goes into squeezing out that amount of shots off of a 12 gram. while that may be one step, other things like spring balance, valve porting, hammer weight, the internal volume of the valve chamber all the way back to the 12 gram, the volume of the air passage after the cup seal to the paintball, barrel lenth... basically its nearly impossble to do with a existing cocker body, and difficult even with most nelsons. A phantom specifically tuned for 12 gram use would be hard pressed to get 40-45 shots over 200 FPS on a warm day. Supposedly grey ghosts can do it...

these would be considered when designing the valve, the main thing is to reduce Excess Volume, i got several stock valves...and the ones with extra volume get less FPS and less Shots

i have old cocker bodies....but devolumizing isn't hard, and for the volume of air from the cupseal to the ball isnt that hard to tune....only the body port would be the problem....and isnt much of an issue since the older bodies and newer bodies have the same body port size, also a bolt could match that port size and probably help restrict flow increase shots

and how is barrel length impossible to change?

my Bushmaster gets 45 all over 200......from 285 starting down to 214 till i change it, i think its the phantoms Diffuser bolt that makes it inefficient...but a nelson should get 40 easy

^^^ my point is that I would like to see a s-6 (s-7 maybe) that is made for stock class and got 50 shots off a 12 gram. Arguing about older guns is pointless seeing as this is a "what do you want to see next from CCM thread".

My phantom could get 40 shots consistently around 280 then dropped off quickly. I've never used a cocker on 12 grams, but If anyone can pull off one that can do 50 shots, I'm confident ccm can.

oh a completly CCM gun tunned for 12 grams....thought you were talking about a valve for 12 grams
