Ohh I used the search button, but you guys are too quick. I was drooling over Grendels and came back to edit my post and BOOM like 3 replies. I built one on Palmers site too. Looks like I'm going to have to flip a coin. CCM or PPS

Use this link for Pyre info:

Pyre Serial Number List

It has ALL the Pyre thread links/serial numbers/owners on this forum in one convenient place.

Check out Uranuses review... He preffered the Pyre to the S6 by far. It's the lightest and smoothest pump I've EVER felt. You can even put in a lighter(green) Nelson spring to make it even smoother.

Mars, Uranus, same thing in my mind.

anyway, SS-25 is mini'ed merlin valved version of an S5, and the S6 is a heavily milled/lightened S5, as far as i'm concerned.

I thought the Pyre looked bulky and awkward compared to the S6.

They did but I bought a CCM anyway.

I learned a lot on this thread, and I really looked into a Pyre. The cost kind of killed it for me as I bought a used S5b for much cheaper. Both sides of the argument were great though. Thanks to everyone involved, maybe I'll buy a Pyre next time.
