Sweetspotted the reg and set my fps to right around 270ish. I noticed that my gun got a little more gas hoggish over that speed. Its wierd but it shoots more efficiently at that fps. Don't ask me why.

The gnomes hair does not get messed up at 270. That is the key.

My new ss25 is not efficient in my opinion, I need to put a gauge on to see what pressure I am running, but with 2000 on a 68/4500 I get a hopper and pod. Since it is mini'd, what pressure would be the best for efficiency? I could play around, but some experience goes a long way IMO. My cocker does so much better, is it because it is mini'd?

Its designed to be a low pressure set-up so it uses lots of slow moving air rather than smaller amounts of fast moving air to shoot the ball out of the marker. But when you say a hopper and a pod you mean about 300-400 shots? Since I use 50rd pods and custom mini hopper I would say thats a bit low and oyu should be able to get more out of it.

About 300 shots, I will put a gauge on and see where the pressure is at. I have not put alot of paint through it, maybe a case and 1/2, so some break in is still in order. I hope I can get some improvement.

TF,
You know I read your write up and manual on the SS25 but never tuned mine at the suggested 375-400psi. I might do that now that I am running a 13/3000 and need to squeeze as much out of it as possible.
