New Series 5 Owner Here w/ a Couple of Questions...

I just received a used Series 5 and need some help.

First...There is a slight leak in the three way and I was wondering if CCM 3-ways tend to be finicky or if I just need some new orings?

Secondly...The back block sticks in the rearward position from time to time causing a leak out of the end of the ram. What might be causing this? When I move the ram by hand it seems smooth...so any help would be great thanks!

I just want to get her shooting as good as I've heard she can.

sounds to me that the timing in the three way is off. I would have you verify that that's the case first before you monkey with your timing rod, but I think that explains both your problems... with the 3way shaft timed too early it would leak out or hold the back block rearwards sometimes.

Thanks for the suggestions, though the timing doesn't seem too bad. It actually will cycle alright sometimes and then stick open, but there is always a tiny leak in the three way and if I touch the actuating rod at all air dumps out...
Where would I go to obtain the upgades you're talking about Pump? Just CCM's ebay store? Thanks for the help. I'll keep tinkering...

Thanks for all the advice. Melissa actually PM'ed me on this so I just called CCM and Rod is pretty sure I'm getting blow by in the ram. So they are sending me the parts to upgrade/rebuild my ram, the Orings to rebuild the Three way, and some other orings just to make sure I get things running smoothly. They treated me so well that I feel great about owning a CCM marker. I'm already plotting what product of theirs to purchase next. Truly excellent company that has earned my business.
