Our S6 body takes about 40+ different drills, taps, reamers, endmills. All this is done on 3 cnc mills
cool, where can a person get a reamer for .689-.69? I have a nelson project I want to do.. but cant figure out how to get a good finish in the body.. what do you use for the diamond honing?

thanks alot, and good luck with the new body design.. it is pretty close to perfect.

I get a lot of tooling from this place.MSC tooling

Here is diamond honing. The rod going thru the bore has a diamond stone in it.It spins around as the operator applies pressure to the stone.

So cool man, I guess I'll have to find an alternative to the diamond honing.. unless I can do it in a mill.. your work is beautiful, and a step above most if not all.
thanks a lot for your help!

Thank you.Honing isn't really necessary for function. It is something I started years ago and just kept doing. It makes the bore look like a mirror also.I believe it makes a difference in the smoothness.Every little bit helps.

it sure does, i have an old 92 wgp cocker body with an almost mirror finish in both tubes from the factory, and a 98ish with easily visable lathe lines, the 92 required almost no main spring tension to fire 290 fps, while the lathe lines bottom tube is almost all the way in

HUZZAH! for polished internal surfaces!

Yes polishing does work.We make tooling for heat shrink tubing and it requires an 8 finish inside and out.Lots of polishing.

I have never shot a factory cocker or sniper better than CCM. I have shot custom guns that have compared, but the stock WGP bodies I have noticed varied from year to year and even run to run varying even in the same year. Its nice to see another company taking a lot of pride in their products.

You really can't see much. There is so much coolant in the machine it's hard to see anything. You just listen for a tool to break. And to watch someone honing is like watching grass grow.boring.Assembly is the best. From pieces parts to a full working marker. If you come by the shop we will take you around and show you the magic. But then you will have to stay and work as our slave. The bright side is you get a free marker.
