Talking Future New CCM Mech ?

Any chance of CCM making any more semi auto mechs in the future ?
I'd love to see that happen. Put my name on the list for one !

I'm asking because we all see that the Autococker is now officially dead.
But yet PPS and AGD are still plugging along under the radar of the commercialized paintball world.

Maybe some radical new design mech (no electronics) .

IIRC I remember reading something on this very topic and I can't recall who, but there WAS a company who put an end to CCM making any Mech compatible or mech markers. I could be wrong, this was a good while back but I believe it's a no go for legal reasons. If I'm wrong chalk me Up for one aswell. WITH EYE HOLES! :O

I really couldn't think of anything that would make me want to build a mech.I can see Rod now trying to explain how to time a mech over the phone. We still have people bring in and mail us there mechs to tune up.The mechanical paintball markers are really expensive to build.I won't say never but,I don't think so.If they had a few gears they would almost qualify as steampunk.Come to think of it the mech cocker could have been built at the turn of the century. It would have been heavy but they had the knowledge. The first aircompressor was invented in the late 1600's.As a matter of fact Lewis and Clark took a compressed air rifle with them when they crossed America.900 psi in the buttstock.Boy, we've come a long way.hmmm.You need to google that.It is quite intresting.See what you guys get when you ask a simple question.
No, we are not going to build a mech.

Could an 'auto-cocking' CCM be built with off-the-shelf cocker pneumatics?

You didn't say which marker.Yes,some harder than others. The front block would be the hard part on a S6 and the SS25.Then you need the grip frame and pneus and your auto rockin.I got a idea we could build one and call it the Otto Kocker.maybe not.

Would it be possible to chop off the front and thread it for a standard pump kit? I sit entirely possible or would it be way too much work.

It would be way cool if you were to make your markers "semi auto compatible", and sell the pneumatic parts individually. Then only someone who knew what they were doing would be able to assemble one...

but then there's that whole smart parts patent for marker kits of any kid...

I was doing marker kits before the patent. And I'm sure there were people before me.Most of my kits were always raw and not complete. We sell pneus now plus the op rod.The only thing we don't carry anymore are the grip frames for autos.
