Question CCM reg

On the CCM regulator which way do you adjust for the velocity to go up (or down)? Screw it in or out?

Thanks

Peace

screws in to increase pressure, out to reduce pressure. How that affects velocity depends on other factors, if pressure goes above a certian point velocity goes down.

Attention!!!You do not adjust velocity through the reg...It is done through the IVG.

I know that.... it's just that most regs adjust in different directions... just needed to know + and -.

Yes they do, very well.

As far as I know, the internals are nearly identical to a Bob Long Torpedo. I've been running CO2 through mine for a while now with now issues.

And the bob long torpedo is a stabilizer copy - which translates to a decent design except it is strange that these regulators do not work well except at a pretty small sweet spot.

The stab seemed a basic copy of the Rg-1. I hate to be play chicken and egg on this one - regulators had been around before paintball.

Kinda goin off on a tangent, but I just got an S6 in today and noticed how the reg is kinda loose in the adapter? I havent aired it up yet, but will it leak that way? If I tighten it all the way the fitting is way off toward the front of the marker. I seem to remember something about using an extra o-ring to adjust where the fitting ends up. True? Thanks for the help, just seems kinda weird to have it all floppy like it is.
