I'm not really sure. I played again with it again on Saturday and shot around 500 balls through it that day, and it didn't lock up again. I'll come back and update this thread again after this weekend, I didn't do anything major since the last time I took it apart and cleaned it, so I'm not counting on getting so lucky again this weekend.

Menso.

I am wagering the cleaning took care of it. CCM has tight tolerances in comparison to WGP. A bit of sand could cause a MESS. It has for me a few times - in particular in the bottom tube.

an obstruction in the bottom tube wouldn't prevent the pump handle from returning to it's original place... As absurd as it sounds, it seems to me that this was a simple case of a pinched ball... even at 6 feet and 200 lbs this has happened to me, and for the life of me I thought it couldn't be.

Well, I still don't think it's the gun pinching balls because the bolt clears the top of the body, and then some, when you pull the pump handle ALL THE WAY back. When it locks up, the handle is ALL THE WAY BACK as well, and it wouldn't budge. Not even in the slightest bit.

well, I don't want to beat a dead horse. Let me know if it ever happens again, and if so, what the cause is/was. I will be waiting on pins and needles until then!

Glad it worked out for you; having your marker down Sucks!

I'll come back and update this thread if it happens again and when/if I find out what the deal is.

But it looks like I won't be playing for a while since I am missing the back screw to my 86* frame. I don't know when, and how it came off, but it did. I called CCM today around 4 Central time, but no one answered. I'm kind of pissed I somehow lost this god damn screw.
