| I prefer the 45 myself so that is how I voted lol. It is most definately a need to try both deal before you purchase or go with what you know IMO. Best of luck to you.

| My SV had an 86* slider with Hogue's, My S6 has a 45* with Hybrid grips, and my Sniper has an 86* with delrin panels. Honestly, the 45* is my favorite. The 86* is nice, but I find I MUCH prefer it with the Hogue's. The panels are far too thin for my tastes. Try before you buy...

| i have both frames and prefer the 45 over 86 but not by much....having the gun too close sometimes is uncomfortable...i find using a 45 frame and a 45 tank is more comfortable than an 86 frame w/ a 45 tank.... |
