Half block chipley

Follow the "A Sign of Things to Come From CCM?" thread, i was wondering if anyone had had ideas about halfblocking an S6?

I know you would all cry herecy, but is there any reason why it can't be done, other than making a mess of the CCM logo? I know it wouldn't improve performance etc.

If you have the disposable cash to do it to one, then go for it.

If it comes out bad, theres a reason it's disposable income.

If it turns out nice looking, congrats.

I personally think it would ruin the long and slim look of the S6 body. But other than that, it may kill resale value. Thats about it.

an s6 has a very nice milling pattern on it a midblock would look better then a halfblock. Although the ss25 I would think would be an excellent gun to do a halfblock conversion onto cause its just a very smooth brick of a cocker

I think midblocking an s6 would turn out a lot nicer

edit: above already said it at the same time

I think you could easily midblock a S6. The upper and lower tubes are seperated which is nice because you could make a custom sled to fit between the 2 and then mill the vertical slot for the bolt pin / hammer pin. Then you could do some fancy milling the tail end to round things up a bit. The nice thing with the S6 body is that you could get crafty and run dual pump rods (my future goal). This is all just dreaming but it is not far off. i just need time now.

Post your thoughts and let me know if I missed anything
