PPS probably wont do anodizing since they outsource theirs and do it in large batches.

hvacman here can do hard black I think. Tumbled finish wouldnt be dusty but it wouldnt be glossy.

I cant do hardcoat anything, but have a local place that does. In about one week, I wont be anodizing anymore though.

Any neither dust or gloss is any harder, just prepped differently. Dust hides scratches more if you have a beat up gun and dont want to do alot of prep work.

Type III, or hardcoat, is much much thicker than type II.

I have dust S6 prototype that seems to be holding up fairly well. As long as you don't throw it around in your gearbag carelessly with other metal things I don't think it'll be a problem.
