Well, I think the best results are when you set it at about 400psi.

CCMs tend to be setup more for smooth pump strokes which lead to being less efficient.

You CAN play with the springs and valve/valve stem and get the numbers up.

I think I get about 600-800 shots on my SS-25 off a PMI 45/45.

Cool, so 600 shots was not an exaggeration then.

Probably not. I've never really shot the 45/45 empty, I just keep refilling with all day air.

You're shooting a pump! Don't worry about air efficiency. Just go out and have fun!

Well it matters to me if I will be using 12 grams or a 13 CI tank.

Even with making adjustments to the internals and/ or springs I would still not suggest using a 12g. I really think you will not be happy with the performance over all. Our guns where not designed for 12g. If you have any other questions please don't hesitate to contact me directly.
Thanks!

I will say that DCB (I think he plays down in FL) got 30 shots off a 12g using his stock S6.

Just food for thought. It might be different for a SS-25.

Yeah, after yesterday, I will not be using a 13/3000 tank for my SS-25. I barely shot half of my sportshot hopper before I was out of air.

Sounds like it's time to buy a spring kit and tune that puppy.
