| Post Whore | 86'frame on a cocker
Is there any way to modify the newer 86' frames to work on a cocker with pneumatics? I think a person would have to drill another hole near where the at one is in order to actuate the 3way.. anyway, it'd be a cool cocker if it got finished with one of these |

I think it won't work, as the trigger itself is not a traditional slider. You can see the trigger is held by a pin to the right of the AT hole. It pivots and is not a slider. You need one of the older model delrin sliders in order for it to work. |

Thats what I was afraid of... it seems like there would be a place somewhere where I could mill a slot and make it work.. possibly with a custom 3way rod..

What if you reverse the autotrigger lever out to the right side of the frame and make a 3-way rod that attaches to that? I do not have my frame in front of me so I would have to look at it myself but its an option. Or if you know someone with a mill that can fab a trigger for you with the 3-way slot you could be getting somewhere. then you just have to slot the frame. See the old S5 and J2 frames for ref. Too many ideas in my head. |
