ccm stock springs?

i know the light springs in the series 6 makes the pump stroke and gun shoot super smooth, but do they wear out quickly? my gun and friend's gun has an issue where the air rushes out of the barrel after each shot. it seems to me that the hammer is resting on the valve and letting all the air out, much like when airing it up without cocking it first. i've yet to really trouble shoot it, but i'm just wondering if anybody else has this issue.

Sounds like the input pressure from the reg is too low.

had that thought right after i posted. but my s6's reg is sweetspotted and i would think that that would be enough pressure.

My S6 has been shot VERY heavily for nearly two full years - and never had a single spring wear out.
