Question about AT kit and ANS GX-5

I have an ANS GenX-5 cocker and I am thinking of putting on the full AT pump kit (the one that retails for $190). However I am concerned that the auto-trigger cam will interfere with the eye cover/detent cover on the side of the marker. I'm attaching a pic of my marker. Thanks for any help.

Yes. You will have to remove the eye cover.

Unless, you want to put the pump arm on the other side of the body and use a different back block and flip the AT cam arm over, I dont see that you have any other choice.

Actually the eye cover is also the detent cover, so it can't really be removed.. and there is one on the other side. So that means no dice...

no AT then

You could modify the cover to simply be a detent cover and not extend down to the grip frame.

As I recall, that's where it bolts on. The best option would probably be tapping the body for a standard 'cocker detent, or making a new cover that's less obtrusive. No need for eyes, anyway, so that shouldn't be a problem...

There's a guy who plays locally who uses an X5 with AT, and I don't believe he took the cover off. Maybe he shaved it down?

Of course, the best solution is to just forgo the AT.
