CCM 04 J2 body.

What is the lightest (from factory) full length cocker body? I am guessing the 04 J2 or the Karnivor, but I have not seen a lot of others that would be close to these. Post pics if you wish. This could be fun.

Jackal's full length RDL bodies. My Karni body is very very light, though it has nothing on my RDL or Twister (not a "factory" cocker, I know).

JMJ merlins were a lot thinner tubed than jackals so they definitely take the cake from jackal.

Other custom guns will be lighter, but simple "tube" looking guns will be the lightest. Maybe the twisters if they didnt have site rails.

the AKA merlins and the jackals were very light, if you want to go with a little cheaper, the 05 prostock/superstock WGP bodies were very light, and you can get them fairly well priced.

I was just curious out of all the bodies out there. I know the 04 J2 body was super light but it is similiar to the Karni in some ways. I like the roundtops that Bill produced. They are simple and light but the J2 has some style to it. I just wish it wasnt drilled and hace a different detent on it.

Wire detents are the best anything else is not an upgrade at all. Drilled for eyes is a failure.

I'd have to agree with Cunha. A drilled J2 body is a failure. Why would anyone want to drill a J2?

I am not saying I wanted it drilled. I wish I could find one that was NOT drilled. Every single one I have seen has been drilled. If you want to make it a pump, you need to live with the 2 holes or make a little cover for them. I think CCM released them that way so that they could go the Eblades easier and the customer didnt have to worry about drilling them and messing them up.

In a perfect world, I would want a 04 J2 body with no eye holes and S6 detents. I have S5s and an SS-25 and I like the wires but I have not had any troubles with S6 and those little covers are cool IMO.
