Paint to barrel match is the biggest key for this. After that, try sweetspotting the reg. Those two things should do it, but often just the barrel does it.

Did you touch your regs? I had drop off problems with my S5 but I did re-spring it. I had to up my reg a bit. Bit of a balancing act. Good luck.

Bore of both barrels? Can't believe such a jump in fps with the stock barrel CCM is supposed to make a pretty good stock barrel from what I've read.

That doesn't mean the barrel is bad, it just means the paint he was/is using does not match it well. A stock Spyder barrel will shoot better than a Dye UL if the bore is way off on the UL and spot on for the spyder.

Don't deal with such inconsistencies... just box it up, send it to me and never look back.... I'll deal with the headaches.

the stock CCm barrel had the .690 sizer the cp was .689 but i think the reg just neeeded to be broken in, anyway it works fine now.

Reg break in has very little effect on the slow rates of fire seen in a pump. It was most likely a paint issue IMO.
