while I realize the length of my karni, and the problems that it poses... there are still things that could be done to hide that.

For example, the standard wgp kit is long but thin... so it pulls the eye along the lines of the gun making it slimmer.

The CCM kit is wider and the guide-rod mount drops down along the reg. Both the thickness of the pump handle and the vertical line created by the mounting hardware make the gun look chunkier and make one more aware of the gun's overall length more than the WGP kit, because with the CCM kit, the eye is moving along both the length of the gun, but now the width of the kit as well.

*edit* And for the record, I am not complaining or flaming, the opening thread mentioned that comments were welcome. Therefore, I added comments.

Cool. Since the Karni uses 2k threaded front block equipment, the best option is to install an ASA in the stock cocker location and use a standard CCM pump kit.

That is, if you dont like the standard setup. The way the karni is is still the only way to get some clearance between the foregrip and the trigger frame, which is nice for guys that like roomier guns.

Bingo. And for that reason, and my love for my old karni, I will be picking one of these up in the future (although I won't say NEAR future, our dollar sucks too bad right now for that :P)

edit: Oh, and I'm in Canada for those who don't know.

I have long monkey arms and huge catchers mitts for paws, so the tiny bit on length/chunk added is a bonus for me. I am most stoked for a smooth pump stroke though. The WGP kit was meh, as was the WWA kit I modified to work on my Karni. I am going to have to buy a new frame to use AT though... Anyone want to trade a CCM 86 slider for a new CCM 45 frame?

Also, it will be nice to be able to use any barrel I want, instead of having to rely on barrel width to prevent the WGP/WWA pumps from rotating.

People beg and beg for CCM to make a Karni pump kit.

CCM finally finishes one, while doing a million other projects.

People complain about how said kit looks.

Geez people, be thankful CCM listens to its customers and makes a kit YOU wanted.

Mel, is this a short run deal or are they available to dealers at dealer cost? If so , can you PM me dealer cost?

got my kit today and installed it on my full bodied karni with midblocked frontblock. Looks amazing. To all who said its too long, FYI it is shorter than the stock wgp kit. I have a CCM Karni complete with CCM thin frame, asa, rail, lower tube kit, feedneck, pump kit, and AT Kit. My gun also has a freak back with stiff tip and a hivis site on the barrel. This gun is awesome. Ill post my pic tomorrow and get a vid some other time.
