Interesting Dave - thanks for that - do you have a clue how many shots off of a certain tank you are getting.

That 275 off a 45/3000 seems LOW to me (mentioned above).

An efficiency test should be in order. It would be easy enough to do with a 13 CI - you could easily compare the two spring set ups and get a fairly accurate percentage.

Why don't you get right on that - and I will pop popcorn.

I use a 7 oz. CO2 tank. I don't own any compressed tanks anymore.

With my 22/3k tank, with a slow fill, I got 200 shots, with "air to spare". I would have kept going, but I didn't have more paint. Thats S6, red valve/green main maddman springs. I don't know what PSI.

Thats how I set up the SS-25 I recently sold. I was able to more than double the efficiency while maintaining a nice smooth pumpstroke. I could easily shoot 200 shots with a 13/3000 and still have a little less than 1000 psi left.

The CCM Hammer weighs between 41 to 45 grams so it is nice and heavy.

My setup also uses a CCM halfblock hammer so the hammer weight is slightly less.

Then your gun was NOT, a Monday, production line run.

I take what the Chef suggests as gold. The Red valve/Green main spring combo is what I thought would be a good start. These are Madman springs you're talking about, right Dave?

TF, a test is in order... Better yet?
How about an efficiency contest using a 13ci, X 3,000psi sound. Stock hammers, and valves is the rule though. Springs are a different story. Only you must share the results

mailmanmike Since Monday! That's more than 4 hours though, so according to those cialis ads I should see my doctor.
tlane77 I think for a non-chemical chubby it's 6 hours before its time to see a doctor. So you should be good for another couple hours.
splattttttt I wasn't goin to google "chubbin" because I assumed it had to do with fat. The lard type, not the fun stuff. But what ever feelings Jeff's experiencing, then they must be of the fun like stuff...

And Mar, why/how does a valve of such similar design, with the only differnce that the LT is made of brass, offer improved efficiency ?
The LT valve came with a stiffer spring...lol...
