Because batteries are evil

If it were me I'd just get the CCM lowers and be done with it. You'd get the lightest pump stroke available and No farts. But that's just me

And... the new CCM lowers have a nice heavy hammer like the ST Phat hammer.

chef it depends on what you mean as performance
CCM makes some of the quietest internals, but you can do a lot with a stock valve

Hey pump. I have one of those tungsten hammers with the 4 nylon set screws sitting here new in a blister pack. Is it useless?

well they are known to eat up bottom tubes, when Brad Nestle tested mine out in a custom gun i was building he got 25 shots out of a 2000 cocker with a stock valve and valve spring, with a stock hammer and the hammer spring he only got 19 shots

this was due to the shorter dwell time the lighter hammer spring capable with the tungsten hammer, but i think when i pointed the gun up it shot less further, also the OD of the FF hammer was smaller than stock so it got wobble, making timing difficult if you wanted it precise

if you know a machinist i would turn it and put a brass or delrin sleeve around it matched to the bottom tube of your gun

Meh. I will probably just sell it. *shrugs*. Or trade it away for something else.

lol, to the guy asking why i decided to take out the mq2, the air space i had in this karni was tiny due to a combination of the gun being mini'd and having the wwa kit (horrible as far as air flow goes btw even after i bored it out a bit). also as a main pump gun, i figured, having a really expensive gun that might not work 100% of the time due to batteries, kinda defeated the point of the mq2'd super karni.
i think i might go with the ccm hammer, and maybe port and polish the stock brass valve a little (just knock out the sharp transition point inside the valve and see if that makes a difference)
