CCM in-house reg sweet spotting question

Hi CCM, got a quick question for you guys, or anyone else who may know.

When you guys sweet spot the regs on new markers before being sent out, do you personally use a reg. tester and set to 300psi like stated in TF's manual, or do you do it over a chrono? Just curious because I have a new S6B, and just hooked up a reg tester to see what it came set at from the factory, and it was at 250psi. I went in about a full turn which did'nt really have an affect on pressure. I was told it was chronoing in around 280fps before it was sent to me so I'm wondering if maybe my gauge is way off, or if other's are coming from factory with similar settings?

I'm using just a cheap Evil mini gauge, but I wanted to ask before I replace it for something more expensive.

Thanks!

Gauges are pretty inaccurate...especially those small air filled bourdon tube gauges. Also remember that just switching paint can have a big effect on velocity.

All markers have their little quarks so you should use a chrono to sweet spot.

Yup, got ya. Just curious if they personally do it with or without a gauge.
