Paintball Bachelor Party Near Chicago

I've been asked to find a nice place to play ofr my brother's upcoming bachelor party in May. There will be about 10 people in the group and everyone in the group has played a few times, many played together for a few years, but most will be renting equipment.

I'm looking for a place with outdoor felds near Chicago that has good Saturday crowds, good fields, decent rental equipment, and knows how to keep games moving. My group will want to get in a lot of games during the course of the day without a lot of downtime. I don't think we'll do a private group since our group is so small.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Jeff

I'll second CPX. Great fields. Rentals are Tippmann 98's.

You're kidding, right? Commercial fields book bachelor parties all the time.

For those that have recommended CPX, have you had any trouble with the refs not quickly running groups thru the fields? We're use to playing a 10-minute game, cleaning up and filling up for a few minutes, and heading back out to play.

There's also the Badlandz. Easier on the pocketbook and BYOP friendly.

It really depends on the day (how big are the crowds, how many refs are working). With the exception of winter, they usually have the fields of Bedlam and Armageddon open all day (meaning you stand in line to get in the next 10 minute game). Turnaround is pretty quick. Other games are "called" throughout the day. They make 3 announcements (1st call, 2nd call, 3rd call) to gather players. Then all players chrono and head out to the field. Two 10 minute games are played, then the entire group heads back. On a busy day, this whole process can take an hour.

Long story short, I've never had an issue getting my money's worth of paintball.

Second for Badlandz.

Or, alternatively if you're in the NW burbs, look into Fox Paintball in Aurora.

Fox Paintball is an excellent field. But it's also a hike from Chicago. The field is actually located in Millington IL.
