| Good once as I never was  Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Columbia/Jeff City, MO | gauging interest - 19 Feb 11, Battle Creek Paintball, Columbia/Kingdom City, MO
I'm thinking of taking the wife out on the 19th and flinging some paint at Battle Creek Paintball's new indoor site on the 19th of this month. Anyone want to convince me it's a good idea and come out with us?

I will be in fulton on that date! Oh man! But I will be hanging with my girl and won't have my car with me. Usagi, I think you should make it out to at least one pump night this year to play with me! Maybe over the summer sometime!

Silver - I'll try, bud, but with the schedule of stuff I'm looking at, I can't really promise anything. Mag7 - just let me know. The more I think about it, the more I'm sure I'll be going that day. Us government employees (read that as: idiots) have a 3-day weekend due to President's Day, and I have so much paid leave built up that I always turn 3-day weekends into 4-day weekends. So even with playing paintball on Saturday, I'll have Friday, Sunday, and Monday to get other stuff around the house taken care of and be ready for work on Tuesday.

Arrrg!  You'll have to count me out this time. I forgot I have something going on with my wife that Saturday afternoon. (Darn marriages  ) Anyway I'll try to make it out next time.

That's okay bud, I've got a wife too. Real life (work/school/relationship) > hobbies (paintball/video games/etc).

Just a reminder - this weekend is the weekend! If you find yourself in the Kingdom City/Columbia area and have some free time (I would include "and a hankering to fling paint", but this is MCB... no, we're not addicted to paintball! we only do it on the weekends with friends, we can quit anytime that we want to!), stop by Battle Creek, as I should be there flinging from about 11am to 6pm.

Wow, it was cold this weekend! The wife and I still tried, but only managed two games in Battle Creek's new indoor field before we packed it in and went home for the day. I would say that you guys missed an awesome day of playing, but it was just too cold to be really enjoyable. I will say, though, that you missed my lovely lady go totally bloodthirsty and hold the field in a 3-on-1 situation at the end of the second game. That kid with the Ego and the lower lip ring will never be the same. Are we going again? Yes, when it warms up, I think we'll be out there a lot. They are honestly working hard to improve the fields and expand their business, and I saw a lot of pumps out there. A lot of pumps, as in every one of the field workers had one in his gear bag, and even one of the walk-ons had a 2k2 Sniper with a CCM kit on it. This place looks like prime real estate for MCB to support and help grow and mature.
