Who's up for a Jaeger's night? 16 July 2011

I find that I'll be in the KC area for the weekend, pretty much by myself. Anyone up for some pump action in the caves at Jaeger's Saturday night, say from 6pm 'til we get tired?

I was very brave and only packed my Azodin KP - no Infinity Legend, no Tippmann M98C rock-solid reliability to fall back on, just a cheap pump and my rusty knees. Should be entertaining, hope to see you guys there.

Stump - I got there around 7, as I was running late. Sorry that I missed you.

Timmy - where were you, bud? I swung by the shop a couple of times and you weren't in there.

What a night! Played like **** the first two games, but got my groove back on the third and managed to be a force to be reckoned with the rest of the night... and I still have about 200 rounds out of the 500 round bag I bought. It took one guy playing with me 5 games straight to realize I had a pump. Fun night.

Sorry I had to leave at 6. I played pistol all day, also had a slow start but then started kicking *** and taking names!

Hopefully sometime soon we can play again.

I think the best part of the evening was that all of the players, even those with the high end setups, checked their egos at the entrance to the cave. I think I heard one raised voice the entire evening, and the participants in that argument were laughing together not 3 minutes later. And the experienced players were taking the time to instruct the renters and the newer players with their own gear, so neither side was always getting steamrolled constantly, as the sides were kept equal in numbers, talent, and tactics. Nights like that are worth all the other BS you run into playing paintball these.

Stump - I'll try to be earlier on my next visit. We'll show 'em what efficiency looks like, defined in terms of paintball.

Silver - finish up your classes, bud. School/real life > paintball. You'll catch it next time, and I may be able to sneak out my better half to play with us as well.
