Our other Sponsor is Alhmann's Guns in Morristown MN. We might be able to set up something on 12/10&11 down there. There are a couple heated buildings to prep in and some fun areas to play. We have a couple "islands" we defend, some wooded trails and burms. Also a low creek area that is heavily wooded. I EAS from the Marine Corps in mid to late November or early December, well my original EAS is January 22nd, but I qualify for the early release program. Haven't received an exact date yet, due to having to juggle post-deployment things with the EAS check out process but should be no later than December 1st. So I wanted to play a game of paintball, perhaps winterball, as a welcome home to Minnesota and of course want a great group of people to play with, that's you MCB.

Alright, I need to plan this out a little, since I haven't been home for a while.

First off we need a location. I know a few fields stay open during the winter for private groups. I believe Splat-tag in Hudson, WI does this, I haven't been but have heard that it is a great place to play at. If anybody would like to play at another field, though, chime in with your suggestions.

Second, I need a date. I can't get an exact date for my EAS yet, but hopefully I'll have one soon. Tack on a few days for driving home. Now would everyone want to try for late November hopefully before the first snowfall? Or does everyone want to play some winterball and enjoy the snow Minnesota is blessed (or cursed) with?

I was hoping for at least a few games of pump only, but stock class might be a little difficult with the low temps. I'll have a few loaner pumps, 3 pump autocockers, pumped Blazer and many Sheridans, though they don't like HPA, but I might be having some of my family come along. If others could offer some loaners, that'd be great. I'd love to do a pump only meet, but don't want to exclude anybody just because they don't have a pump gun.

Splat Tag does have winter games. I think December is out because of the holidays. He does have a planned game January 29th.

I'm on one of the sponsored teams, Minnesota Militia Paintball, and play there quite often. The field operator is a great guy named Darrin. If that date sounds good, I can help you with area players. Limiting it to pumpers might be hard, but we can definately limit it to semi and the winter players are stand up folks. There isn't much for indoor paintball in the area outside of Air Assault, which is a speedball set up. Darrin is looking into indoor, but nothing has come of that yet.

Hit me up if you want help getting something going, always willing to help- especially those who serve.

Well, I have sort of have a date. Hoping for Nov 16, but my 1stSGT wants it to be Dec 1st to 'give me enough time to check out', but really so he can make me go to the Marine Corps Ball. My SSGT and MSGT are pushing for Nov 16, though.

That sounds great, Rogue. Definitely will be making it to that Jan 29 game, but was hoping for something sooner.
