Given this topic seems popular among us. What is the next step? I could probably field two teams with friends. Anybody up for proposing the idea to Jaegers?

Timmycuddler on here used to work at the Jaeger's pro shop, Timmy, you still working there, bud? If he is, I'd start by seeing who he says to talk to about the idea.

I just picked up a JT ER2, I'd be down for that kind of action.

I'd be more inclined to jump in with support if it wasn't a 5hr ride for me one way. As is, I wouldn't be able to make that trip reliably enough to feel comfortable with such a commitment.

Seriously, shoot NinjaDave a PM and chat with him about the format. I'm sure he'd be willing to give you pointers. If you'd like I can contact him and point him to the thread.

Just an fyi, the ER2 sounds like a shotgun going off in the caves. Scared the piss out of me the first shot I took with mine.

I'm a former Jaegers employee in high standing, and yes, Timmy still works in the shop. Could someone please explain this format to me? If there's enough interest I might be able to work out a way that Jaegers can run this while still benefitting.

I sent Ninja a PM directing him to this thread. Here's his original thread on 2/10:

^What he said. Basically it's 2 man format and you can use any equipment you want, but you can only have 10 paintballs apiece. You can run it speedball, airball, x-ball, hyperpipe, woodsball, city/urban, theme field... whatever. I'm sure there's a time limit to help encourage things to keep moving, and you could make it 2-flag or center flag if you want, but I think the original guys kept it to straight elimination.

Hang on, reading the rules now... nope, they do it double-center flag, one for each team. And airball, with a bunch of bunkers to make it crowded and not give a lot of open laning ground. This actually looks pretty fun.

Usagi,
Are you considering what a husband wife team would be like?

Hadn't really thought of it, but would that really be fair to the rest of you, having Denise sandbag into our bracket?

I feel like it would be a fun filled tournament. Perhaps we could have an MCB day where we take over the indoor speedball field and play this format. With 6-8 people there were could have games going non-stop basically all day!
