Paintball

#1 paintball just put on an excellent 8 hour scenario game Dec 29th, Reindeer Revolt. A fun time was had by all, well except that guy that broke his leg, and well the player in final battle that assaulted a ref , that put a kink in the end game . There were 215 players out for the game so lots of fire fights to get into, and plenty of missions to be run and general blowing crap up out of spite. And the mayor of Whoville even showed up in a skin tight red velvet pimp suit.

Two great generals oversaw this game Drail(Santa) and Spyro(Rudolph). And was playing under Santa's command representing Carters Commando Texas Division with two guest that I brought, a father/son combo with the son playing paintball for 18 months and this being his first scenario, and this being the very first paintball game his father has ever played, both had an absolute blast just like I did.

This game was great bribery of judges and NPC players was in full effect and many good things came from a few pieces of candy to a ref here and there. Well David Jr (on my team) went off and misfired into Santa's foot at the base eliminating him just after an insertion, so I turned around and shot him in the leg so he could go spend a time out with Santa at the hospital waiting for reinsertion. This had the benefit of having Santa award David Jr the Sportsmanship banner for our team for taking the shot I gave him. And I'm still trying to figure it out, but some how I made an impression on Santa and walked away with the MVP for Santa's side.

So I'm hoping that our little three person team properly represented Carters commando taking home MVP and Sportsmanship for the game, when we were partnered up with a team like the Warthogs.

Anyways, I would really like to seem some other local members of MCB come out for game where we can really put together a real Carters Commando contingent and make a really impression.

Well I'm gonna be reffing for Crash at the Viper Trev 08 game in April out a Mt. Pleasant.

i may just be reffing as well ... wife said it was ok ... and it's close enough drive for me to drive home afterwards ... heck ... if you need a place to sleep in the AC and a warm dinner give me a shout ...

other than that i thinks i'll be making a trip for petty's castle rock again ... and like you play a few local scenario's... i'm also resolving to go back to the field i started playing and reffing at ... they still give me ref prices may evey try and get the pump day bigger for the field ... eh ...

well I'm working on bring three people with me two players and possibly another ref. Planning on splitting the $100 for renting a personal port-a-potty for our camp site if Viper is gonna do that again. We'll discuss it more as the event gets closer.
