MI Thumb Area - Pump Only Scenario Pump only scenario (8-23-08 in MI) I know that this is the same day as the SPPL at Hell Survivors. But I have been trying to find a field to host some pump games and The Landing Zone has been gracious enough to offer to host a pump scenario. Pump only events don't come around here very often; So clear you calender for August 23rd and bring any pump marker that you might have or can find. This will be a pump only scenario based on the French and Indian War. The Landing Zone has even lined up some re-inacters to take part in the game. A $10 entry and the event is BYOP or paint will be available for sale at the event. 9am Orientation 10am Start (sharp) 1pm - 2:30pm Lunch 5:30 End There will be "rustic" camping for $10 per night, Co2 and HPA fills available on site along with paint sales (price to be added/updated). Pop, snacks will be available for sale, along with pizza for lunch. The field address is 5368 Klam Road, Columbiaville, MI 48421 If you have been to this field before, be ready for some improvments over last year. I'm hoping to get a decent turnout, to show that there is some interest in pump play in the area.

No swampy, there is no website. This is a new field; it used to be a tree farm and I don't know if they are just getting out of that business and wanted to branch out (no pun intended) into paintball because the owner enjoys playing or what... The owner has held larger scenarios in past years (3-4 per season), but only within this past year has he really made a go at turning it into more of a commercial field. Prior to this year he had Co2, HPA and even paint sales handled by an outside business that would come in with a trailer and set up. But this year he has sunk some money into the field and can now provide these for himself. And Hockeytown, you may want to check with Weekendballer about the possibility of a carpool as he has mentioned plans on attending. Heck, throw WilD in there and you could get a metro Detroit group together. Last edited by In My Sights; 07-29-2008 at 08:16 AM.

Well, I have to say it was worth the two hour drive. The field was good, it was a well ran game and best of all, I met some "interesting" people. The guys playing as the indians were cool. It was nice to see some of you again and meet some of you for the first time. Me and my big mouth at the top of the hill. You would think that I would learn. Everytime I get mouthy like that, I get zapped. Oh well. All in all it was a good time and those that didn't make it missed out on a lot of fun. InMySights, weekendballer and friends, hope to see you guys in October.
