| I will add that while a private game at Hell Survivors might be cool for some special occasion, open play there suits me just fine! Over the last 5 years or so I've just watched the reffing staff at HS get better and better. I routinely play sunday mornings(though I've missed more weekends this year so far than all of last year) against the mercenaries and I have no complaints to make of bad sportsmanship, overshooting or other trifles. Though now that the speedball fields are open at HS, the mercs play over there alot too. Weekend before last PhantomXJ and I played with pumps and pistols all day and had A BLAST!!! This game back on May 4th, we owned the center with our pistols while Ed, one of the owners, and Shaun, the head Ref and Field Manager ran the flanks. Village050408 youtube vid I'm finally going back to playing every weekend again, so anyone who's coming out, just slide me a PM and we'll make it a party! The Owners are MCB Friendly: ![]() ![]() Nice hat, Ed!!!It's entirely possible, if I knew there were enough of us that they would let us run another 12gram only game or some such like we tried last year, without the private party fee, though when not enough of us showed we joined open play and had a good time. | MCB Member | Chaos Paintball Fields here near Lansing will do a private game for $25 a player. That covers entry fee, all day air and 500 rounds of paint. If we want to do it there, I would be happy to be the person to set it all up. I do agree with AgentSmith that HSI is an outstanding field, and if we could get enough people to commit we could probably do a 12 gram only game or something there without the private game costs. Unfortunately, the last one had only 2 or 3 people show up for it. I myself was at the exit when my wife called and said she was taking our 2 year to the hospital because he fell down the stairs. I did not make it to the game. |

| Just throwing it out there, but I have a pump only scenario game on Aug 23rd that is posted... I know there won't be a ton of players there, but the field owner told me that he would try one. The cost is only $10 per player and BYOP. So far I have a committed 10 players, so there will be plenty of room for more. Link to Thread |

| I think this is a great idea. We should make this the next Gathering. One, it is fairly central in the state. So it wouldn't be to great of an investment in gas for anyone. Two, it would help to show that pump play is still alive and we are willing to drive for a good game. |

| MCB Member | Funny you should respond today, Swampy. Weekendballer just got his two week notice from his doctor. He should be back ready to play after that. I will again throw out there that I would be happy to arrange a private game at the field here in Lansing. (chaospaintballfields.com) I contacted them about a price if we all brought in our own equipment. Here was their reply: Quote:

| I swear I've had stuff going on every weekend for the last 2 months. My schedule is a lot more open in August as well. Lansing isn't a bad trip either. Looks we would need a 10 person minimum though... is there 10+ people planning on showing up?
