kp3 12 gram?

is there a way to convert the KP3 from the 7 oz. c02 tank to 12 gram cartridges?I hear the kp2 and 1 ran off them where the steel braided hose goes into the gun...is this true?

yes the kp2's and k2's ran off of 12 grams.

it's possible to run a kp3 on 12 grams, but you may have to install a new valve stem that has a piercing pin so it will puncture the 12 gram if there isn't one in it. you'll also need a new 12 gram plunger rod cut to the correct length with an end cap that'll screw into the end of the tube.
