Got a question...

Anyone know where I could find a feed neck for an Ion that would hold a 45* elbow on the outside?

I'm gonna have a complete spare Ion firing assembly and wanna make a 'battle rifle' inspired aesthetically by the firearms from the earlier half of the 20th using the Ion as the basis for it (Converted to a mech trigger. Had enough trouble coaxing my electro Ion to work.), and I want it to be right-hand feed.

well, if you pick up a imulse/ion/bushmaster threaded warp feed neck you should be able to attach a 7/8" elbow to it. Then just mount the breech at an angle in the stock you're using and you'll be all set.

If you have a decent way to measure the O.D. it looks like you may be able to cut the top part of the stock feed neck off and still have enough metal to mount a 45 degree elbow.

I'm not sure they make them like that. The one I have is purly a bushmaster and not SP products, or that is at least the way it was labeled.

In reality the bushy warp adapter fits in my angel threaded ULE mag bodies,
the angel threaded ULE necks fit in my bushy,
the angel threaded warp adaptor fits the bushy,
the bushy threaded warp adaptor didn't fit the bushy until I trimmed a bit off the body around the feed neck threads.

If the bushy threaded necks will work they are finishing up a batch of them at this time. I was trying to get some angel threaded necks through PTP. If you care to read them, here are the emails between PTP and myself.

I could not find them listed on your website but I was wanting to

We'll check on this for you. We have either the Angel of the
Bushmaster style at our machine shop ready to ano. I'll gert back to
you ASAP. They are $9.95 each + S&H.

Thank you for getting back to me with an answer but I also have another question regarding these pieces. I do not intend to use them with warp feeds so I don't even need the ano on them. Is there any chance of getting a reduced price for purchasing them as an unfinished item? I know there is a good chance that they are made in batches and picking out a few items to sell unfinished could just be more trouble than waiting on the finished product but I didn't think it would hurt to ask.

A good question actually. We are complete out of Angel adapters, but have the Bushmaster threaded adapters built. They would be available unanodized for $8.00 each if they will work for you.

Forest
