| 1.21 gigawatts! | Metal tippman 98 e-grip battery cover? Here is a silly question for everyone. Does anyone know of a metal replacement battery cover for an e-grip 98? I'm on my third replacement plastic cover and would kind of like to have something a little more durable. And if not does anyone know of someone who could make one?

If you mean the ebolt battery cover, then what you can do is lengthen out the wires and relocate it to somewhere else where it will be a lower profile. I have never been a fan of the giant box sticking off the side of the gun. I have seen people put the battery in the foregrip or shove it in their tank cover. Be creative and you should be able to find a spot for it. |

| Lord humungus the Mod | Psycoballistics back in their hayday used to sell a version of the E-bolt which had a machined aluminum batt cover. It was similiar to Tippmanns but was more square. I actually used to have that version several years back as it was about $60.00 cheaper than the Tippy one. it was the same drop in kit but had the alum batt cover. This was right after Tippmann switched form the original 98 to the custom and I remember having to send my original 98 in to Tippman to get the recievers milled out to fit the board and such. -Jake
