| Minion to Big oil  Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Woods Cross, Utah | Hopefully you bought the bob cad cam, The learning curve is steep (buy the training videos as well) but the potential is quite amazing. Mach 3 is the best controller software i have ever used. To answer your question yes i am making chips, i have written and ran almost a dozen programs so far. You are going to be very happy. | MCB Member Join Date: Apr 2006 | Yup got the Mach3 and BobCadCam v2.whatever . I look forward to learning it. I've got a friend semi local that runs a glass shop and he's got it on his router, and he sent his son (friend) to class for Bobcad, so I've got some pretty good local help. Thanks a ton for the offer, I'll prob holler at you as well  Also got the 4th axis, and one of the Qchange tool holders (prob get more later) and now they raised the price of the mill some and all of them are coming with the spindle upgrade (Gcode controlled and higher spindle speed). Hope to have it in and start cleaning grease off of it within 3 weeks or so.
