Integrating an LPR


can i integrate an LPR into this system?
If not, thanks.
If so, How? please draw it out for me. im a visual person.

You can, but it doesn't gain you anything other than extra work. Nothing that would benefit from an LPR in an Ion I'm afraid. You can't drop the pressure that much and still have the bolt move backwards.

But, if you really wanted to just because you could, it would be between components 3 and 7, where hose 6 is currently in that picture.

Well, that won't do anything but replace the HPR, won't it? Doesn't the rear banjo fill a dump chamber, while the front banjo holds it back with pressure? I don't think there is anything to be gained by an LPR, at all.

THis is what you want to go for but it may not do much at all. Maybe lighter trigger response and max adjustable pressure holding the bolt back.

would it take substantially more pressure to hold the bolt back?

essentially what im saying is it is moot to use, because the lpr has to be set the same as the HPR anyways right?

yeah, the geometry of the bolt sail requires that the pressures be close to equal.
