Anyone add a wooden stock to a 98c?

I have an extra 98c and would like to do something different with it. Has anyone put one atop a woden rifle stock? If so what did you use?

Thanks
Tootall

I think nobody had tried it, prolly because Spec Ops has a metric buttload of stocks that fit. Besides, there are some design issues. First, in order to not have to completely rework the trigger, you'd have to mount it low in the wood and use the stock rear grip. That would make the foregrip pretty fat for more ppl to get ahold of. If you desided to rework the trigger...Well, good luck. You'd have to make it so the disconnector works (Don't want a hambone full auto do you

Not to say that it couldn't be done, it's prolly just be easier to get one of the M4 buttstocks and adapt that groovy A-5 foregrip that SpecOps sells....

Yes, it has been done. This is not me, mind you, and I have seen a better one than this, but I cant find it at the moment.

A buddy of mine on the GLSPB.com (Scuba Steve) did a really nice one. Yep, the trigger has to be re-worked but it's not that difficult if you plan it right. I'll try to find pics...

I did one a while ago but can't find the pics. I will keep digging for ya. I had to cut the entire trigger handle off to drop it in and wired a WGP Flat double trigger behind the original to release the sear. If I can find pics I will post them. Here is a pic of my latest wood stocked gun. I would go this route if I were you. It was actually pretty simple.
