I don't know about chrome. I'm pretty sure you can have it done in black nickel, though...

Yes, you can. It is not black chrome though. It is a process of black nickel plating on a high polished piece of metal. Alum., steal, and brass can be done. I have already talked to a shop here in NE about it. It will cost about two hundred bucks to do my kp3. The process looks like black chrome though. The shop in my town is currently doing a whole entire motorcycle in high polsihed black nickel plated. I wish I had pics to show, but I don't. I friend of my in currently getting a 24-k gold plating job to a p68 from the same shop. I will post pics of the p68 when it comes back about mid- April. Later

I am planning to get my Big Loop Lever KP3 black nickel plated this sumer. She is currently at Scarecrow's shop getting the 3.5 oz tank put into the stock. I still post pics of her when I get her back from scarecrow. I hope that he gets her done before SPE07. I would like to play her at that event.
