Feed-neck removal

Hey... is it possible to easily remove the feedneck on an '04 prostock autococker?

I would like to be able to remove that, put a SC (phantom) breech on it, then reverse the process without tapping the body for angel feednecks or anything like that.

Yup there pressed in. Once you get it out 9 out of 10 times it's mangled. Threading the body is even out. The hole is to big. You would need a new press in sleeve made with angel threads. I've done a few so I'm speaking from experience.

Actually, Shocker NXT feednecks can be tapped easily on a Prostock. Pull out the stock neck, tap the body, screw the new neck in. The hole is already the perfect size.

Thats assuming you want to spend $40 on a tap.
